Sammy Lee at the 90th Replacement Battalion, Long Binh Post, 11 Nov 69. Dan Linn and Sammy went through BCT at Fort Bliss, Texas and AIT at Fort Ord, California together. After initial in-country processing at the 90th Replacement Battalion Sammy was assigned to D/3/506/101st Airborne Divison and Dan Linn to C/3/506/101st Airborne Division and then we attended SERTS (Screaming Eagle Replacement Training School, aka P Training) at a remote part of Long Binh Post called Camp Ray. After SERTS about 6 or 7 of us left Bien Hoa Air Base in a C-130 for a short flight to LZ Betty on 25 Nov 69.
