C/3/506 Before Hill 474, Binh Dinh Province, Jan. 1970
This photo was taken with Oscar Cruz Gonzalez's camera in early January 1970 somewhere in the Crow's Foot and just before Hill 474. Three Currahees are identified in the photo. If you know the names of any others please post. This and several other photos were given to Dan Linn by the sisters of Oscar Gonzalez in February 2007. Update: 24 Oct 2008 - Dennis Roberts identified the guy in the middle with black hair as James Robach, Gene Zrinyi (from Ohio) to the right of James with sandy blond hair and Evans (from California) is the guy with the pipe. According to Dennis, Gene also served in the first Gluf War. Currrahee! Thanks Dennis.
